Poem on Kindness

Kindness is a gentle breeze 

That soothes the troubled soul 

It's a warm embrace that eases 

The pain takes its toll.


It's the smile that brightens up 

The darkest of our days 

A simple act of kindness 

Can light up life's dull ways 


It's the hand that reaches out 

To help a stranger in need 

A heart that is full of empathy 

And willing to take the lead.


It's a word of encouragement 

That lifts the spirit high 

A gesture of compassion 

That makes the tears run dry.


Kindness is a precious gift 

That we can all bestow 

That's a way to make a difference 

And help the world to grow.


So let us all be kind 

And spread it far and wide 

For kindness is the language 

That brings us all to one side.

  It was a dark and stormy night. The wind was howling and the rain was pouring down in sheets. Mia was driving down a long, deserted road in the middle of nowhere. She was on her way home from a friend's house, but she had taken a wrong turn and was now lost.  Suddenly, her car started to sputter and she realized that she was running out of gas.
