Poem on motherhood

By Abhiroop kaur mann  From the first flutter of life, That I felt in my womb, I knew that my world Would never again be the same. From the moment I held you In my arms for the first time, I felt a love so intense That it was almost beyond pain. The sleepless nights, the endless diapers, The first steps, the first words, The triumphs and the tears, All blended into one endless dance. As you grew, so did I, Learning to see the world Through your eyes as well as mine, Learning to be both teacher and student. There were moments of doubt and fear, Of frustration and anger, But they always gave way To a deeper understanding and a greater love. Now you are starting out on your own, And I marvel at the beauty of it all, The wonder of the journey we have taken, And the joy of knowing that I will always be your mother.

Poem on bhagat singh

Image
By Abhiroop kaur mann  Bhagat Singh, the Indian hero, Whose name rings in nationalist chimes, Revolutionary fire in his heart, And passion for freedom in his mind. The British Raj was his enemy, The symbol of oppression and tyranny, He fought for the people’s welfare, And never cared for his own safety. Brave in his deeds, fearless in his spirit, He stood as a symbol of defiance, Against the foreign yoke on Motherland, A freedom fighter of unflinching endurance. The sacrifice of his young life was the seed, That gave rise to the tree of independence, He lives on forever in our hearts, An inspiration to generations unceasingly. We bow in reverence to Bhagat Singh, For his vision, his courage, his valor, May his flame continue to shine, Guiding us on the path of progress forevermore.

The Kalanda tribe

Once upon a time, there was a tribe of indigenous people in India called the Kalanda. The Kalanda were a peaceful tribe who lived off the land and were deeply connected to nature. They had their own unique culture, language, and traditions that they passed down from generation to generation. Despite the beautiful and abundant land they lived on, the Kalanda faced many challenges over the years. They were often marginalized and discriminated against by the larger society, and their land was frequently taken from them by government and corporate interests. But the Kalanda were resilient and fought to keep their land and way of life. They formed strong community bonds and worked together to advocate for their rights and protect their heritage. Over time, the Kalanda managed to gain recognition for their valuable contributions to society - including their vast knowledge of natural resources and unique cultural practices. They also established their own small businesses and enterprises, an

Sailor Andy

By Abhiroop kaur mann  Once there was a sailor named Andy who lived for the sea. He had grown up on the coast, and even when he was a young boy, he had felt the call of the ocean. As soon as he turned 18, Andy left his small town and joined a merchant navy ship, starting off as a deckhand. Andy quickly discovered that the life of a sailor was both exciting and challenging. He traveled to far-flung corners of the world, met new people, and experienced cultures entirely different from his own. He loved the feeling of being at sea, away from land, with nothing but the sound of crashing waves and the wind in his face. Over time, Andy honed his skills as a sailor, and he advanced to become a navigator and then the captain of his own ship. He had seen everything the sea could offer, from treacherous storms to peaceful sunsets. But there was one adventure that always eluded him: he dreamed of sailing across the Pacific Ocean alone, without any crew.  One day, Andy gathered his courage and d

The reality of politicians

By Abhiroop kaur mann  Politicians, oh how they talk, Promising solutions and change to walk, But once they are in power, they forget, Their promises fade away, like a silhouette. They smile and shake hands, making friends along the way, Saying the right things to get votes each day, But when it comes to making laws and rules, Personal gain often takes priority over what the people choose. Their words are like honey, sweet and so pure, But in reality, they are often unsure, Making decisions that benefit the few, Leaving behind the ones who trusted them to be true. It's a game of power and position, With ambition and greed as their mission, Once they reach the top, they forget the rest, A politician's promise, is often just a test. So let us all be careful and wise, And see through their lies and disguise, Let us hold them accountable and demand, A government that serves the people, not just their own brand.

A poem on knighthood

By Abhiroop kaur mann   Amidst the rolling hills and fields of green, A noble, chivalrous knight is often seen, With a sword in hand and armor of steel, He rides with honor and steadfast zeal. At break of dawn, he dons his shining armor, His heart as full as his coat-of-arms, He rides to defend and protect with all his might, To uphold justice and bring light to the night. His courage and valor are a sight to behold, As he wields his sword, steadfast and bold, His honor and loyalty are his guiding force, As he charges into battle with unyielding course. The knight's code of chivalry, a noble creed, Of honor, honesty, and valor indeed, Of compassion and mercy, as much as strength, A vow to defend and protect to great length. With the sun setting on the battlefield, The knight stands victorious, having never yield, His sword shines brightly, the emblem of his might, His knighthood a symbol of valor and right. So let us honor and raise a toast, To the knights of old and those we toast

A poem on women empowerment

By Abhiroop kaur mann  From battles fought within, To wars fought all around, Women have risen high and tall, Breaking every chain that's bound. Bold, beautiful and brave, Their strength knows no bound, Empowered by the world, Their voice is the only sound. Gone are the days of oppression, Of being told, silenced and shamed, It's time to claim our rightful place, And make the world great again. Equality is the anthem we sing, Justice is the flag we wave, Together we will change the game, For every woman who's been brave. We are the warriors of today, And the leaders of tomorrow, We'll break every glass ceiling, And dispel every shadow. So rise up, my sisters in arms, And let's make history, Let's show the world what we are made of, Our strength, our grace, our victory.

a poem based on a claveroince

By Abhiroop kaur mann  The clavichord's keys  Softly click beneath my touch  Notes held in whispered breeze  As my fingers blithely brush  Rich, sonorous tones  Echo through the quiet air  The music that I've known  Comes alive in perfect care  Each note carefully placed  Melodies that never falter  Reverberating with grace  Through halls I did not alter  Harmonies in tranquil blend  Seem to float upon the breeze  As my fingers softly wend  Over clavichord's master keys  Instruments long since passed  Yet their music still remains  A symphony that will last  Time and change it never stains  So let the clavichord play  And enchant us with its sound  May we ever know the way  To keep our past forever found.

A poem on royalty

By Abhiroop kaur mann  In grand halls of stone and gold, Where royalty reigns, mighty and bold, A king or queen sits on the throne, Fate and destiny, theirs alone. In sparkling crowns and silken dress, They bring to life all their finesse, And rule with grace and righteousness, To fill their land with peace and bliss. Their kingdoms flourish in abundance, With loyal subjects' unwavering assistance, They protect their lands from enemies' arrogance, And savor the fruits of their perseverance. But not all is golden in the life of the king, For worry, sadness, and fear, do they bring? Their burden is great; their hearts heavy with care, Ready to protect their kingdom with utmost flair. For in their crown rests great responsibility, To strive and maintain their gracious equity, To shield and serve with unwavering loyalty, The awe-inspiring symbol of their sovereignty. So bow to them with the utmost respect, For their demeanor is to protect, Their people, their heritage, their land

A poem on corruption

By Abhiroop kaur mann  Corruption, the cancer of the land A menace that grows, a cancerous strand Ravaging the fields, tearing us apart Destroying our morals, corrupting our heart It starts with a bribe, a small token of gain A favor for favor, a game we can’t sustain Our values take a backseat, our morals rust away Our conscience weakens, as we play day by day Our leaders lead astray, ruling with an iron hand Oppressing the weak, enriching the land The poor cry out, their voice a mere whisper As their sweat and tears just feed the glitter Corruption eats away at the soul of a nation Burning bridges, causing separation It leaves us brutal, harsh and cold The human spirit, left alone in the cold The end result is chaos, the land in disarray Injustice the only order, corruption the only way Our love for the truth betrayed, the trust of others tarnished Our very foundation weakened, our future now vanquished Let’s stop this devil, let’s curb our greed Let’s start telling the truth and pla
