A poem on earth

Earth, beautiful and vast

A home for us to anchor and cast

Its landscapes and sceneries, oh so grand

From oceans to mountains, a wonderland


The sky shimmers with a radiant blue

And the sun kisses the greenery with dew

The wind whispers secrets to the trees

Nature's orchestra, a symphony at ease


The creatures that roam, fly and swim

Intertwined in a majestic hymn

A circle of life that’s balanced and pure

Their beauty and purpose, we must ensure


We live in wonder, we live in awe

Estranged from chaos and living to the core

Let’s embrace our home, let’s embrace our worth

And create beauty and harmony on this Earth


For we are bound to it, hand in hand

Our legacy should be a pristine land

So let’s be guardians, kind and wise

And cherish this treasure of paradise.

  It was a dark and stormy night. The wind was howling and the rain was pouring down in sheets. Mia was driving down a long, deserted road in the middle of nowhere. She was on her way home from a friend's house, but she had taken a wrong turn and was now lost.  Suddenly, her car started to sputter and she realized that she was running out of gas. She pulled over to the side of the road and tried to start the car, but it wouldn't turn over. She was stranded in the middle of nowhere, with no phone signal and no way to call for help.
