Poem on patriotism

Patriotism is a flame 

That burns within the heart 

A love for the country and its people 

That never will depart.


It's a bond that ties us together 

And unites us as one 

A shared sense of purpose 

Pride in all we have done.


It's a call to serve and sacrifice 

To stand up for what is right 

To defend our nation honor 

And protect it with our might.


It's a legacy we inherit 

From those who came before 

Who fought and bled and died 

To keep our freedom pure.


So let us honor their memory 

And keep the flame alight 

For patriotism is the soul 

That makes our nation bright.


Let us stand together as one 

And pledge our hearts and hands 

To keep our country strong and free 

And united in all lands.

  It was a dark and stormy night. The wind was howling and the rain was pouring down in sheets. Mia was driving down a long, deserted road in the middle of nowhere. She was on her way home from a friend's house, but she had taken a wrong turn and was now lost.  Suddenly, her car started to sputter and she realized that she was running out of gas. She pulled over to the side of the road and tried to start the car, but it wouldn't turn over. She was stranded in the middle of nowhere, with no phone signal and no way to call for help.
