The reality of politics

 

In this world of policies and power,
Where politicians roam and rule the hour,
Where speeches are made and promises given,
And votes are cast to determine the driven.

The game of politics is ever-changing,
A never-ending battle of rearranging,
The struggle for influence and control,
A fight that always takes its toll.

Especially now, in recent times,
When the world seems to divide into lines,
Where opinions clash and anger flares,
And trust in leaders grows scarce.

It's easy to lose faith in the system,
Or feel like your voice is just a whisper,
But change can happen, it's not just a dream,
When people come together and make a team.

So let us not shy away from the fray,
Or let the politics of hate have its way,
Let's hold our leaders accountable,
And demand change that is sustainable.

For True democracy is not an illusion,
But a living, breathing solution,
That empowers us all and makes us strong,
In a world where politics can do no wrong.
