A funny poem
By Abhiroop kaur mann
In a land of laughter and silly rhymes,
I'll tell you a tale that'll tickle your chimes.
It's a funny poem, full of whimsy and glee,
So sit back, relax, and come along with me.
Once upon a time, in a town quite absurd,
Lived a wacky bunch, who were quite absurd.
There was a cow who loved to dance,
And a pig who wore polka dot pants.
The chickens would sing, cluck and squawk,
While the sheep would tell jokes, a hilarious talk.
The ducks would waddle, quack and play,
And the goats would climb trees, all through the day.
But the funniest of all, was a sneaky old cat,
Who wore a top hat and a bow tie, imagine that!
He'd tiptoe around, causing mischief and glee,
Playing pranks on everyone, just wait and see.
He'd put whoopee cushions on every chair,
And swap the sugar with salt, oh, it was quite a scare.
He'd hide in the bushes, ready to pounce,
And make funny faces, causing everyone to bounce.
But one day, the animals had a plan,
To outwit the cat, and show him they can.
They set up a trap, with a pie in the face,
And waited for the cat, in their secret hiding place.
The cat crept closer, thinking he was sly,
But little did he know, it was all a funny lie.
As he reached for the pie, with a mischievous grin,
The animals jumped out, and covered him in tin.
The cat was surprised, covered in goo,
But he couldn't help but laugh, and join in too.
They all rolled on the ground, laughing so hard,
Their sides ached, and their laughter was marred.
From that day on, the cat learned his lesson,
To play pranks with love, and not cause aggression.
The animals became friends, forever in glee,
Living in a town, where laughter was the key.
So remember this tale, of laughter and fun,
And let your silly side shine, like the bright sun.
For life is too short, to be serious all the time,
So embrace the laughter, and let your spirit climb.
