A sad tale

By Abhiroop kaur mann

Once upon a time, in a land so gray,

Lived a lonely soul, who lost their way.

They walked through life, with a heavy heart,

Feeling lost and broken, torn apart.

Their days were filled with endless sorrow,

No joy or laughter, just a bleak tomorrow.

They longed for happiness, a glimmer of light,

But it seemed to elude them, day and night.

They wandered through the world, searching for solace,

But everywhere they turned, they found no promise.

Their tears fell like rain, soaking their soul,

As they struggled to find a way to feel whole.

They reached out for help, but no one could see,

The pain they carried, the weight of their plea.

They felt invisible, lost in the crowd,

Their cries for help, silenced, not allowed.

But deep within their heart, a flicker remained,

A tiny spark of hope, that couldn't be tamed.

They held onto it tightly, through the darkest of nights,

Believing that someday, they'd see the light.

And as the days passed, their strength grew,

They found the courage to start anew.

They sought out support, from those who cared,

And slowly, their heavy heart began to be repaired.

They learned to embrace their pain and sorrow,

To find beauty in the tears they would borrow.

They discovered that sadness, though hard to bear,

Could lead to growth, and a heart that's aware.

And so, this tale of sadness and woe,

Teaches us that even in darkness, we can grow.

For within our struggles, lies the strength to heal,

And find a glimmer of hope, that's truly real.
