Happiness poem
By Abhiroop kaur mann
Happiness, the elusive sprite
That dances around in plain sight
It flits and floats, just out of reach
But once in hand, it's sure to teach
It's not found in wealth or fame
Nor is it won through power or game
Happiness has a simple key
It's found within, just you and me
In simple joys and gentle smiles
In peaceful moments that last awhile
In giving love and helping hands
In cherished memories, like golden sands
It's in knowing that we belong
In humming a quiet, peaceful song
Happiness is a state of mind
A choice that we can always find
So when the world seems cold and gray
Take a moment, stop and say
I choose to be happy, come what may
And let that joy light up your way.
