A poem on trees
Oh beautiful trees, how tall you stand
Your leaves like whispers in the wind
Your trunk so strong, your branches grand
A home for creatures from beginning to end
Oh how you give us breath to live
A gift of oxygen you generously give
Your shade in summer, a cool retreat
A symphony of colors in autumn's beat
Your roots spread far, deep into the earth
A symbol of strength, a treasure of worth
Your beauty inspires poets to write
A natural wonder, a heart's delight
Oh blessed are we, to walk among thee
To be immersed in your majesty
For in your presence, we find peace
Oh beautiful trees, may you never cease.
