A poem on warship
By Abhiroop kaur mann
In the heart of the stormy sea,
Sails unfurled and flags flying free,
Warship proud, with cannons bold,
Stories of battles yet untold.
Men of iron, hearts of fire,
Courage tested, never to tire,
Through the mist and crashing waves,
Ever strong, the warship braves.
O'er the waters dark and deep,
Guardian of land while others sleep,
A symbol of might, a force to fear,
In times of conflict, always near.
But in the silence of the night,
Amidst the stars' soft guiding light,
The warship dreams of peace to find,
A world where swords can be left behind.
So may this vessel strong and grand,
One day rest on tranquil strand,
And from its hull, let flowers bloom,
A warship turned to peaceful tomb.
